URGH!!

First off, HAPPY BELATED FRIDAY THE 13th to all!!

Ok, what the fuck! I am like just getting re-incorporated into society after the weekend or something. I was in New Orleans from Thursday to Sunday, at the property=fema trailer= shitty dial up connection. Then i get back to Baton Rouge and the cables out = no internet. I was so pissed. I made an appointment for someone to come out and everythig. Then boom after hours, upon hours of nothing, I turn on one of the TVs and all is just fine and dandy. That's so fucking annoying but I'm soo glad it's all working again.

ONE WEEK!! Dude, one week from now i will be on a plane to Germany. That's still sinking in. I'm gonna have so much to say when i get back, i know it.

well, i've got to be a news anchor tomorrow, there's no way that that can go well with me. i really don't know how i'm gonna handle the tele-prompter. slight dyslexia and ADD is not a good combo.

DUDE!!!!

Let's see, last night was fucking awesome...18 visions @ the varsity. loved it!! it's so weird being one of the only people to know who a band is and their music, but that doesn't stop ya from lovin every minute of it. even though ken's guitar was working right at the beginning of the second song, trevor did a mini drum solo at someone in the audience's request and then all was fixed and they rocked out the rest of the set.

And there was buzzfest sunday in houston. that was beyond fuckin awesome. first was boys like girls (who also played with 18v) and i had never heard of them before, but they're ok and really nice. and there was EIGHTEEN VISIONS. there were no technical difficulties so that was great.
Then i went to the mainstage, realized pitt tickets make you less than a foot from the stage and freaked fuckin out. when avenged came out they had some difficulties, it wasn't there best set ever but for being a festival show and following the san antonio fiasco i think it went alright.

and so in exactly two weeks i will be flying to germany right now. that so fuckin awesome man. i'm beyond stoked.

oh yeah

we're flying back on Halloween so that means it's gonna be Halloween for like 30 something hours. now that's fucking awesome!

Countin' Down The Days

DUDE!!! It's 8 days til Buzzfest. I so can't fucking wait. It's gonna be so awesome, 18 Visions and Avenged Sevenfold!!! And then the next day, 18 Visions is playing at the Varsity and given that whole situation i'm pretty sure we're gonna get to meet them. Awesomeness. I love concerts. Definitely one of my favorite things to do.
And then, after Buzzfest there's ITALY. Dude, Italy. Reall, it's like insane. I've been to Canada, I've never crossed an ocean. That's just too cool. We're gonna fly through Germany. That like knocks out most of my heritage in a snap. (i'm half italian, then the other half is yougoslavian, german, and french) so that's kind of neat in itself. We're gonna be in Frankfurt, Milan, and Turin. But I'm really hoping we can manage to go to Venice, I wanna ride in a gondola dude. I don't know why, i just think that would be fun for some reason. I hear you laughing. Too Bad.
Ya know on a so random note, i got my first real job like a month ago...i mean i've worked for family businesses and in movies, but ya know it was my first normal job i guess you'd say at a department store called Kohl's that's just opening up in New Orleans and ya know it sounded alright at first btu then it got lame and lamer and just kind of stupid and then when they wouldn't give me the days i requested off for the shows, houston, and italy and they were like no even though i had told them about it when they hired me i was just like fuck it and so i quit. now this is the really weird part it feels sort of empowering dude. i think i'm nuts. no, i know i'm nuts. oh well, that's just me. least i'm honest and up front about it.

dude! what the fuck?!?

ok, so i'm leaving class right, and going down the street. yeah, it's part of campus, but not that trafficy so i'm going like 45 in a 20 and this dip shit broad pulls out right in front of me, across me, stops, and let's someone pull out of the drive way on the other side of the two laned, one each direction, street. then, as she's sitting there, waiting, i'm trying with all my might, slamming on the breaks, praying I stop, and mouths 'sorry.' i was like, bitch what the fuck is your problem? i know my car can go from 0 to 40 in like 6 seconds but i didn't know it could go from 40 to 0 in two.
dude, i was so fucking pissed. I was just a car length away from her when she pulled out and when i came to a stop i was barely a foot away from her car. the dude in the drive way behind her had his jaw on the floor. he seemed as amazed as i was that i stopped without clipping her.
i thought my biggest problem with motor vehicles were the mother fuckers in both my apartment and school parking lots that park in your lines, well over there's, along side of you and leave you wondering 'fucker, you better hope you didn't scratch my car.'
i know my car's just a civic but it's the third car i've had and my firt sense of normalcy after the hurricane, so yeah, i love it and am protective.
but dude, when you look at my track record:
car #1: stolen three weeks after i bought it
car #2: destroyed when the house fell on it
i think i've ran out of creative pain free ways to loose vehicles. i don't wanna get in a wreck. i mean yeah, i did get into a wreck in stopped traffic, but that was a dip shit that at least wasn't as fucking retarded as this last prize this morning. that was a mere fender bender, fixed in three weeks. today could have been extremely fuckin bad. and i am so very thankful that my lovely little civic stopped. green wouldn't have looked too good on silver and i really didn't need an engine in my lap. lol.

2006 VMA's

well, i was really shocked by this year's vmas, some really good people won...first there was P!nk. i loved how she mocked Paris Hilton, etc. with Nicole Richie right behind her. That was very "in your face" and hysterical. Then, i was in near shock when Avenged Sevenfold won for best new artist in a video. Even though they've been around for forever, i'm still stoked that they won...i thought for sure some crap was gonna get it, eventhough there were some ok artist in that category, avegend was the best. and the All American Rejects won...they're really poppy but their not half bad, least not like their other 'best group' counter-parts. And lastly, AFI won best rock video...i love when the award goes to well deserving artists...it reassures my faith in the business and my dreams.

Guess What

I've got a new roomie. I thought it was just gonna be me and the icky but nopes, my cousin moved in. which that poses a little problem being that icky isn't her biggest fan ever since she sprayed icky in the face with a hose, semi-accidentally, when icky was a puppy. But, since the hurricane, she's gotten much better with people, she's extremely lovable now and not as much of lit wire.

about the roomie, it's my cousin Megan and we've been really close since we were little, she's like a little sister, so it's all good, for now anyways...let the cat fights begin! lol. nah, we haven't had any massive fights in years, yikes, maybe we're over due...ok so it's really obvious i'm a little drunk, a little out of it, whatever. maybe i should just shut up whilst i'm ahead.

i can't wait til october 8th, i'll get to see avenged sevenfold for the fourth time, i think, in Houston. so, let's see, only 48 or so more days. that can't possibly be right...hmm, i've got to think about that.

oh, and something else really funny, Just My Luck, with Lindsay Lohan was released the other day and I got it and i got to see me and a few friends in a bunch of the scenes, we were extras, so that's hilarious, ya pause it and laugh at yourself, it's a blast, you should try it sometimes.

They're back

ok, so i'm sitting on my bed with my lap top about a week ago working on some shit and my dog decides to run across my lap. next thing i know i see two keys flying off the key board. low and behold, the v and g were missing. so, typing my last name, avenged sevenfold, etc. proved to be one hell of a challenge. but dude, my dad fixed it. i swear i tried a few times to put the keys back and it just wasn't happening. i guess he is good for something. i'm just kidding, for what's it worth i love every last peice of my splendidly assine family. they may drive me crazy, but their MINE! anyways, happy 4th. laters. ~chris~
